Kylian Mbappe has made it clear that he is targeting a treble this season, as the Paris Saint-Germain forward looks to add to his two domestic titles and the Champions League crown.

The 22-year-old has already secured the Ligue 1 title with PSG, but now he wants to add another piece to his trophy cabinet by winning the Champions League.

"I'm very happy to be in the final," Mbappe told reporters on Wednesday. "We have worked hard all season to reach this point and we want to do something special."

He added: "I want to bring home the Champions League for PSG and I believe we can do it."

It's not just Mbappe who is confident of success though. PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has also spoken about the team's ambitions for the tournament.

"We're playing for everything here," Tuchel said. "We know what we need to do and we're working towards it every day.

"But there's still a lot of football left and we have to play our best game against Ajax tomorrow night."

In terms of Mbappe himself, he has been impressive so far this season, scoring 14 goals in 16 league games. He has also provided six assists, which is second only to Lionel Messi in the French top flight.

But he knows that the next step is to take his performances into the Champions League, where he will face Ajax in the semi-finals on Tuesday night.

It's going to be a tough task, but Mbappe and his teammates are up for the challenge. They know that they have the talent and the ability to succeed, and they are determined to make it happen. With their talismanic player leading the way, there is no reason why PSG shouldn't go all the way this season.
