The Shanghai Port is one of the busiest ports in the world, and it's no surprise that there have been some major events taking place there recently. One such event was the 2021 Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), which took place from September 28 to October 7. One of the highlights of the SIFF was the awarding of the Golden Bear for Best Foreign Language Film to "A Quiet Place" director John Krasinski. The film won the top prize at the festival, beating out many other films from around the world. In addition to the award-winning film, the SIFF also featured a number of other notable events and screenings. There were panel discussions with filmmakers and industry experts, as well as masterclasses and workshops on various aspects of filmmaking. One of the most exciting events of the festival was the screening of "Parasite," a South Korean film that won the Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival. The film was directed by Bong Joon-ho and follows the lives of two families living in separate worlds in Korea. Overall, the 2021 Shanghai International Film Festival was a success, showcasing some of the best work in the film industry today. And with its upcoming return next year, we can't wait to see what exciting events and developments will be taking place in the city of Shanghai! |
